Sittigs Nursery has been a landmark in Hartbeespoort for the past 53 years, and after closing the door on their previous premises, many residents thought the days of Sittigs were over.
Not so! Sittigs is opening its new quaint nursery at new premises in February and residents can once again revel in their colourful offerings.
“We did not close down, we only moved our retail section to where the production tunnels are,” said Heidi Hinton-McDonald. New sign boards will go up at the entrance (not far from the previous location) soon and the new venue will open its doors soon. “Sittigs has been part of Hartbeespoort for the past 53 years. Our customers have become friends and we have personal relationships with all of them. We cannot leave them,” she laughs.
The new nursery will proudly offer Sittigs’ colourful Garden fun bedding and patio plants.
