Mugg & Bean at Village Mall once again walked away with the prestigious award for the best restaurant in Gauteng East which includes cities like Johannesburg and Pretoria. This favourite restaurant in Hartbeespoort was announced as the Regional Winner Gauteng East for the fourth time.
“I am very proud of our achievement and our team. We were chosen as the winner out of restaurants all over Gauteng,” said owner Maria Floudiotis.
She ascribes it to being hands-on and having a team of people who take pride in what they are doing. “It means being here every day and making sure that we maintain the high standards. The focus is on quality products and service.”
The judging period runs from April to February and the criteria include hygiene, finance, operations, service delivery, quality and the ambience of the restaurant. This is the fourth time that Mugg & Bean Village Mall, one of the most popular restaurants in Hartbeespoort, has walked away with this coveted award.
