A Grade 10 learner at Hartbeespoort High School, Goitsemodimo’s journey into pageantry has been fueled by her passion for leadership, community development, and women’s empowerment. She believes that true beauty lies not only in appearance but in the ability to uplift others and use one’s voice for change.
“Winning this title is more than just a crown for me—it is a platform,” she says. “I want to use it to advocate for young women, tackle issues like bullying, gender-based violence, and period poverty, and encourage other girls to believe in themselves and their potential.”
In March this year, she spearheaded a project to raise awareness about period poverty, donating sanitary pads and giving motivational talks to learners at local schools. She continues to run youth empowerment initiatives under her growing movement, Maphoso Movement, while also managing her small business, Baddie Aesthetics.
Her victory as Miss Township South Africa Teen Queen is not only a personal accomplishment, but a source of pride for the Hartbeespoort community. She is determined to represent her town and province with dignity, while becoming a role model for the next generation of leaders.
“I want young people, especially girls, to see my story and know that their circumstances don’t define their future. With determination, faith, and confidence, anything is possible,” Goitsemodimo said.
