Snowball miraculously survived.

A seven-week-old kitten that was thrown out the window of a car in De Wildt miraculously survived and was saved by a resident.
The resident (who does not want to be identified) was on her way to work around 07:00 when she saw a person in a red SUV throw a white object from the car. “I was behind the vehicle and it slowed down seemingly moving to the side of the road. I thought he or she was going to stop and I slowed down. The next moment I just saw a hand tossing something white out of the car and it landed almost under my wheels. I don’t know what made me stop, just a gut feeling. I got out to look for the object and found this tiny kitten lying on the side of the road,” she said.
“I was utterly shocked. I could not believe that a human could be so cruel as to just throw away a little animal like a piece of rubbish!”
She rushed the kitten to a veterinarian and miraculously the kitten was unharmed. “I called him Snowball and he now has a safe home with us. It is evident that he was someone’s pet. He is not scared of people, sleeps on my children’s chests and is very playful.”
“And to the heartless person who did this: I would very much like to open an animal cruelty case against you and ensure five-star vet care for the rest of the kitten’s long happy life away from you.”
