A very lucky Ifafi resident won a Jeep Wrangler worth over R800 000 in the recent Astron Energy Summer Promotion.
A still dazed Elmar Honeyball received his brand-new vehicle at the Astron Energy Xanadu service station on Tuesday 13 February. Honeyball was the lucky winner from over 600 000 entries nationwide.
“I still cannot believe it. When they phoned me, I thought it was a scam. After the second call, I blocked the number. Thankfully they were persistent and called from a different number. I was still hesitant today, until I actually received the keys. I have never won anything before, that is probably why I am still struggling to believe it,” he laughed.
Astron Energy Xanadu service station is located on the R511 at Xanadu Estate and will hold an official launch to celebrate the rebranding of the site, in the near future.
