Well done to local police officers
It is great police work indeed when police officers catch thieves and recover stolen goods even before a case is opened. And that is precisely what four of Hartbeespoort Police’s most dedicated police officers did.

Sergeant Kagiso Mofurutshe, Detective Sergeant Brian Chuma, Sergeant Walter Ngobeni, and in front, Detective Sergeant Mavis Hloale.
Thieves broke into a business on Beethoven Road last Sunday night and stole a large number of items. The police team received information about a suspect with possible stolen property, and upon investigation, discovered the items were stolen from Pumba Signs.
“Even before I could open a case with the police, I was contacted by these alert and professional police officers informing me they had recovered my stolen property and that the suspects had been arrested,” said Jacques van Rensburg, owner of Pumba Signs. “Police officers of this calibre restore the public’s belief in the police force. They deserve praise for their excellent work and dedication. Hartbeespoort police station can be proud of them,” Van Rensburg said.
